As research regarding Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) is quickly expanding, the Foundation will support these efforts by giving grants to innovative trials involving FMT. These trials may include but are not limited to UC, Crohn’s, IBD, the efficacy of multiple FMT treatments, the long term effects of FMT on the microbiome, certain auto-immune disorders, among many.
